This 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon was modified new by American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) of Wixom, Michigan, with a Brute DC350 package including a 61″ cored-composite truck bed, AEV 3.5″ DualSport SC Suspension with Bilstein dampers, and a 5.7-liter Hemi V8, which is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and a Jeep Rock-Trac dual-range transfer case. A heat-reduction hood, a Warn winch, stamped steel bumpers, and 17″ AEV wheels are additional DC350 elements. Finished in Billet Silver Metallic over black leather upholstery, the truck has been updated with new double LED ditch lights, Aries powered steps, PowerStop red brake calipers, front and rear dash cams, and a nine-speaker Alpine sound system with a 9″ touchscreen head unit – including wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. This Brute DC350 has 53k miles and is now offered with two keys, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean title.
The AEV DC350 was a Jeep factory authorized modification by AEV to turn a 4dr Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited into a 4dr short bed, off-road truck – the true precursor to the Jeep Gladiator. You get the best of both worlds, the old school JK Wrangler, with the Gladiator style truck bed for more utility. The truck was finished at the Jeep factory in Billet Silver Metallic, and sent to AEV to be retrofitted with a 61″ cored composite bed after its frame was extended 23″ by AEV, resulting in a 139″ wheelbase. Additional DC350 components include an AEV spec heat-reduction hood, stamped steel off road bumpers with a Warn winch in front and an embedded water tank in the rear. Also included are a heavy duty front skid plate, and IPF off-road lighting. In addition to the AEV ‘factory’ DC350 adds, there are Gear America red shackles, Rugged Ridge LED ditch lights, Aries power-retractable side steps, license plate-mounted cameras (front and rear), and a Pro Net tailgate net were installed during current ownership. The tailgate was a custom piece made by AEV and is included with sale. It is repairable, with new latches.
AEV 17″ wheels are mounted with 35×12.50″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires that show 2021 production date codes, and a full-size spare is mounted under the bed. The truck was lifted approximately 3.5″ as part of the AEV conversion, and it has an electronic front sway bar disconnect. PowerStop red calipers were fitted in 2023. A new Currie’s steering stabilizer was also installed along with replacement tie rods and bushings during a recent trip to JeepMasters in Austin TX.
The heated front bucket seats and the rear bench are upholstered in black leather with white stitching. The seller added carpeted sill covers and top-panel insulation along with front and rear dash cameras, an A-pillar switch panel, a Painless Performance fuse block, and a Wrangler-specific Alpine nine-speaker sound system, which features a 9″ touchscreen head unit with CANBUS integration and wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto connectivity.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames AEV-branded instrumentation including a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates approximately 53k miles.
The 5.7-liter VVT Hemi V8 was installed by AEV as part of the DC350 5.7 package. The engine was fully tuned, by JeepMasters, with 16 new spark plugs, cleaned and serviced injectors and a new YellowTop battery, all in 2023.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range Rock-Trac transfer case, and Dana 44 axles with Tru-Lok electronic locking differentials.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage. As is – no warranty
