The objective was not to make it a purist Jeep but to turn it into a functional everyday driver. One can comfortably drive 70 mph without feeling unsafe. It drives very nice and strong. There are zero rust issues. The sheet metal is original and has never been welded on. It was professionally repainted by a local body shop. The paint is much nicer than the factory paint ever was.
