1967 M715 Kaiser Jeep. Very well cared for. Garaged.
Runs strong on it’s original engine and transmission. I’ve gotten it to 70 miles per hour in the freeway- takes a while to get up there. Very reliable. It’s only stranded me once, when it ran out of fuel because the gauge is stuck on empty. On average, I use it about 1 time a week to go to work at Hill AFB-its only a 10 mile commute. I also drive it locally on Sundays, or to car shows. The truck shows really well. The body is solid. Top Canvas in really good condition. Troop transport racks that fold down as benches. Large PTO winch also leaks oil.
Clean Utah Title in hand.
Odometer: 37,000 Miles. It is functioning
Engine: 230 cu in (3.8 L) Tornado inline 6.
Transmission: Warner T-98 4-speed manual.
24v electrical system. Currently running a 12V electric fuel pump on a toggle switch, but the original dual action fuel pump is still mounted so that it operates the wipers.
In this year the following work was performed:
Changed wheel brake cylinders, 2 new batteries, rebuilt Holley carb installed, points replaced, spark plugs replaced, distributor cap and rotor replaced, water hoses, replaced muffler, replaced headlights.
Issues: leaks oil. Fuel gauge stuck on empty. Some of the paint is starting to chip around the fenders and wheel wells. Shocks need to be replaced – truck shakes a little when you hit a bump.
