2007 Jeep Wrangler SAHARA. Rock Crystal, 6 spd Manual, RWD, 4:10 Gears, full pwr, Premium top, Infiniti
Up for consideration is our very clean 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in the beautiful shade of Red Rock Crystal Pearl with a fun to drive 6 speed manual transmission. I purchased this Jeep a few months ago with the intention of keeping it long term, but we have purchased a small farm and are selling the Jeep to buy equipment for the farm. I will list the details of the Jeep to the best of my ability. The body is exceptionally straight and the paint has incredible shine to be 14 years old. There is a bit of clear coat fade on the hood that is noted in one of the pictures and a few light scratches on the front edge of the hood. Keep in mind that this Jeep spent the majority of its life in Florida so a bit of hood fading isn’t a surprise. A few of the hinges have a bit of bubbling under them which is typical for a Jeep this age and there are chips on the grille I have touched up. Overall, I would consider the paint an 8/10 and I am a very picky judge. The windshield has a chip in it but it is not in any sight lines. The headlights and driving lights in the bumpers are crystal clear. The interior is VERY clean and free of any smells. The radio is the factory premium Infinity system with factory sub woofer and 6 disc changer. All speakers work as they should and the system sounds good. I replaced the driver side seat bottom which had a small hole with a new MOPAR bottom to the tune of $400 a couple months ago. The passenger front seat appears to have been used very little and is very nice. as is the rear seat. The carpet is exceptionally clean with one wear spot under the drivers side floor mat at the right heel area that cannot be seen with the mats in. I replaced the original mats with a new set of OEM JEEP take out rubber mats. The A/C is ice cold and all power functions work as they should. The steering wheel is in very nice shape with no gouges in the leather and some wear on the left wheel spokes where your left index finger and thumb would rest while driving. The manual recline on the drivers seat will not adjust, but it is in a comfortable position so I have not worried about it. I have replaced all the interior lighting with 5000k LED bulbs that really help seeing in the interior at night. The frame and body are both are absolutely RUST FREE as you would expect for a jeep that spent its life in Florida and Georgia. I replaced the old vinyl soft top with a MOPAR JEEP take off premium cloth soft top with factory tinted windows that is perfect. The premium cloth top is light years ahead of the standard top in quality as it fits tight with no leaks or wind noise. Driving on the interstate Easter weekend, I noticed it is just as quiet as the hard top was on our last JKU. I have a new Alien sun shade installed that goes with the sale and had the front windows tinted in 35% about a month ago, the rears are factory. The engine is the original 3.8 V6 mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox that is easy shifting and lots of fun to drive. The engine has no leaks and the oil was changed and a MOPAR filter used a few hundred miles ago. The radiator and hoses were replaced and entire cooling system flushed and replaced with MOPAR coolant about two months ago. I also replaced the engine drive belts at the same time. This particular Jeep has the optional 4:10 gears for more low end pep but still comfortable for interstate cruising. It is a 2 wheel drive. I knew this was going to be a family highway cruiser so I looked intentionally for a 2wd this time as I have had THREE other JKU jeeps over the years and I used the 4wd exactly ZERO times. I would not hesitate to jump in this Jeep and go cross country at any time. The wheels and Bridgestone tires are off of a 2017 Sahara that had 25K miles on it so there is plenty of life left in them. The tread depth of the tires can be seen on the spare in one of the pictures and is representative of all 5 tires. The wheels are almost perfect and I would rate them a 9.9/10. Overall, this is a VERY CLEAN, LOW MILEAGE Wrangler that has been cared for, is a ton of fun to drive and can be had for tens of thousands less than a new one. This is a 7 day auction with a very reasonable reserve. I require a $500 deposit via PAYPAL at auctions end and payment must be made in full within 7 days of auctions end. I will be glad to store the Jeep in my garage for a couple weeks to arrange for pickup or if the owner wants to fly in and drive it home.
