1958 Willys Jeep CJ 5 US Navy M100 Trailer Here is an opportunity to own a real piece of American History. I have for sale my 1958 Jeep CJ-5 with matching trailer. They are being sold as a pair. The Jeep was nut and bolt restored approximately 12 years ago and looks amazing. It has always been garage kept and meticulously maintained. The pictures speak for themselves. The Jeep has decals for the North Island Naval Air Stations -Viper Squadron, which is were the Jeep is rumored to have come from to support the Navy Grumman S-2 aircraft. I have a lot of past pictures of the Jeep, but have not been able to connect all the dots in its past history. The winning bidder will get all maintenance records and past historical documents that go with it. All decals are easily removable if you are not interested in its Navy Heritage. The Jeep and trailer turn heads everywhere they go. All canvas on the jeep is in amazing condition and made at Beachwood Canvas. The jeep runs and shifts as it should and the PTO engages properly. I recently added the turn signal switch, but it is currently not hooked up. The front PTO shaft has also been removed because it slightly rubs the exhaust which is a common problem for the PTO winch. The only cons are a scratch on the right front dash as shown in the pictures and the speedo-fuel cluster is not currently reading (but I’m working on it). I am not in a rush to sell, but have other Jeeps that have taken priority. Please feel free to ask any questions. Jeep is located in Hampstead MD, and is available to show at anytime. Buyer is responsible for all shipping. Buyer is required to pay a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction. Remainder of the balance is due within 5 days of the end of auction. Hampstead, Maryland, United States
