The previous owner had installed a Rough Country 4 inch lift with a transfer case drop, 3.83 gears, and an autozone style intake. I un-installed the t-case drop and put a proper Slip Yoke Eliminator and driveshaft in. When he put the gears in, he never changed the Speedo Gear in order to make the gear/tire combo register correctly, which caused the milage to increase at a faster rate than it should have. I installed the correct speedo gear and it is now registering milage properly. I also removed the autozone intake and installed a vehicle specific intake from K&N.The rear leafs needed replaced as well so I ordered those and installed them 50 miles ago. I also put new Bilsteins at all four corners, and a Barnes Offroad steering box stabilizer for added insurance against steering box stress. It’s got brand new Cooper AT-3 tires as well (31 inch).
My goal was to just slowly make the Jeep better and take the family out when we could. It’s an Arizona car and rust free throughout. It has been garage kept since I took over ownership.
