2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
This 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited was reportedly acquired as a tub by the seller approximately five years ago and subsequently modified. Work involved installing a replacement frame and a supercharged 4.0-liter inline-six that is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and an Atlas two-speed transfer case. The truck has been repainted green, and additional modifications consist of 17″ TrailReady bead-lock wheels, MetalCloak front fenders and bumpers, Poison Spyder rear fenders and rock sliders, Dana 44 axles, GM front calipers, a Spyntec front hub conversion, a PSC steering box, an Alpine stereo, KC Cyclone interior lights, and a Switch Pros multi-switch panel. Finished from the factory in red, the body was refinished in green before being mounted to a replacement frame during current ownership. Equipment includes a removable black hardtop, MetalCloak front fenders and steel bumpers, Poison Spyder rear fenders and rock sliders, a Rigid Industries 50″ light bar, Rigid Industries cube lights and rock lights, JW Speaker headlights, and a custom tailgate plate. A pair of matching removable half doors are included in the sale. Black 17″ TrailReady wheels feature green bead locks and are wrapped in 37×12.5″ Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires. A matching spare wheel is mounted to a MetalCloak swing-away tire carrier, and suspension modifications include BDS springs, Fox shock absorbers, JKS sway bar links, Reid Racing steering knuckles, a PSC steering box, and a body-color TNT long-arm kit. The brake system has been upgraded with stainless steel braided brake lines and GM front calipers. The cabin features black cloth seat upholstery accented with green pinstriping. Amenities include cruise control, a Switch Pros multi-switch panel, KC Cyclone interior lighting, an Alpine CD stereo, and rubberized floor mats. The seller notes that the air conditioning system is inoperable and the door panels on the removed half doors are damaged. The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The replacement 4.0-liter inline-six was installed during current ownership and is equipped with a Sprintex supercharger system, ceramic coated exhaust components, a K&N intake system, and a Flex-A-Lite aluminum radiator, fan, and transmission cooler. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 42RLE four-speed automatic transmission and an Atlas two-speed transfer case. The underside, firewall, fenders, and tub floors have been coated in Line-X, and additional modifications include the following: Dana 44 axles Revolution 4.88:1 gears RCV front axle shafts Yukon rear axle shafts Spyntec hub conversion Tom Wood’s front and rear driveshafts GenRight Safari fuel tank ARB differential covers.
