1980 Jeep Wrangler CJ 5 Beast! Tons of $$$ Spent An Absolute Show Stopper!
1980 Jeep CJ5 is about as far from stock as possible!! Fresh Black paint with chrome skull theme throughout. If you’re looking for a rugged terrain Navigator that will be a show stopper everywhere you drive it here it is. Work performed at Bull Gear INC in Locust NC. Never been off road since the build. Mostly an around town toy. Very few miles since the build. Replaced the original stock axles with CUCV 1 ton from a military transport truck Dana 60 in the front and a 14 bolt in the rear(4.56 and a rear Detroit Locker). Completely rebuilt front end with Blue Torch FabWorks front bumper, new wheel bearings seals, spindle bearings and kingpin bearings. New springs, shackles, bushings and shocks added. Steering was refurbished and stabilized with new tie rods and box bracing. ARG rock arm steering system. Drives great even with the monster 40 Nitto Mud tires on 17 Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels. Added power brakes as well. Under the hood is an AMC 360 with an Edelbrock Performer EGR, AMC Intake Manifold and carburetor. 4SP transmission rebuilt a few years ago. Too many little things to list.
