1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ. 4 cylinder. 5 speed. 99850 MILES. Rare Satin Jade Metallic paint. Safari doors with sliding glass windows. Excellent condition. NEW in the last year – all brake lines, drilled/slotted rotors, new rear drums, pads, shoes, calipers/cylinders, battery. BRAND NEW front fenders, shocks, steering stabilizer, sway bar links, front axle U-joints. Engine tune up with plugs, wires, rotor and cap. New exhaust, front bumper, LED headlights with white halos and amber turn signals. 4 CREE LED fog lights, NEW chrome side steps and tons of little goodies everywhere. Bestop was replaced just before I go it 4 years ago. Top is perfect. Very tight and all zippers perfect. Tinted windows. Has not seen snow since I bought it. Also has bikini top/sunshade and cargo net. Interior in great shape. Seats under covers are in decent shape given its 23 years old. New seat covers are high end neoprene – not the cheap Autozone specials. Alpine stereo with Sirius and detachable faceplate. I also have a second detachable faceplate. No rust. Frame solid and paint is still very glossy. Whoever had it before me Rhino coated everything under the carpet. This jeep really needs nothing. Engine runs strong, transmission/clutch solid and precise, 4 wheel drive works as it should. Two “PROBLEMS” – NO SPARE. For the life of me, I don’t know what happened to it. I’ve looked everywhere, it’s just gone. And, there is an intermittent squeak in one of the serpentine belt tensioner pulleys. Gone more than its there but every so often it squeaks a little. The only thing I didn’t upgrade is tires and wheels. I know that’s a very personal thing so I left those for the new owner. Lots of life left in these while you replace them with what you want. I welcome and encourage you to check this over any way you wish. Bring your own mechanic, whatever.
