1989 Jeep YJ Wrangler I have a 1989 Jeep YJ Wrangler with 152K miles. Has the 4.2L engine with a manual transmission. I had to relist this Jeep because eBay and CarFax shows that it has a salvage title. As you can see in the pictures, I have a good clean Oklahoma title in my name. I don’t know why, but this is a fact.
I got this as a partial trade on a travel trailer I had and just want to turn it into cash. I don’t know much about it except that it starts easy, the engine sounds good with no smoke, It drives good, steers good, the transmission shifts good into all gears, the brakes are good, the doors, hood and rear gate all open and shut good, the windows roll up and down good. The off road lights work. I don’t see any rust anywhere. I’ve owned this for a short time and only drove it a few miles to make sure it drove okay. I can see that it has a lot of new parts: battery starter, water pump, belts and hoses, plugs, wires, cap and rotor and I’m sure more, but this is what I can see. The Jeep is 31 years old and probably has had a rough life in the past.The last owner gave me a good clean title. When I brought it up into my name, it came back a good clean title. But, when the new owner brings the title up into their name, apparently there is a chance it might come back as salvage. I don’t know. It didn’t for me. It looks like it’s been fixed up, probably a few times in its life. Because of all of this and the the fact I don’t know the history of the Jeep. I am selling it as it is. I just need to turn it into cash. You are welcome to come out to look at it before you bid.
