1948 Willys CJ 2A Farm jeep Newgren Hitch PTO Governor Original Paint survivor
For your consideration is super rare 1948 Willys CJ2a farm jeep…all original paint “as found“ condition!….. a true survivor This jeep, although showing signs of surface rust is really very restorable …it has damage in the front floors that should be replaced but overall has a very solid back bone, no crash damage is evident, nothing worn out or ruined. This rare jeep would make a wonderful addition to the collector of unrestored vehicles and I am sure it would be pretty appealing to all farming collectors as it does have the agricultural implements installed.. This is a real gem…it has a newgren three point hitch and all of its associated parts such as the pump, controller, engine driven governor with correct handle on the dashboard.
also has a full rear PTO as well as a right angle drum pulley that is not shown in the photos… Overall a great jeep to restore to its former glory, appears to be Potomac gray with orange or red wheels. Has all of its original gauges, under dashboard heater, data plates on the firewall, original engine everything down to the rear reflector.
Rear tail light is missing as well as other small items that I am not remembering right now but you’ll be hard-pressed to find another one as complete as this and with all of these nice farm accessories This is a true barn find you don’t find this too often anymore as they have been modified or rusted completely beyond repair. If you’re looking for a nice original paint untouched CJ jeep to restore… this is the one to choose.. it has these rare farm accessories that you just don’t find anywhere anymore.
