Jeepster
Beautiful 1969 Jeep “Jeepster” Commando. Seems to have spent a good chunk of its life in the sunshine, coming out of Arizona, down through Texas where it was sold by the Wagonmaster guys, and over to Southern California where I bought it in the spring. I commuted daily in it the whole time I had it, 40 miles round trip, top off, cruising easily at highway speed, huge smile on my face. Roomier than a CJ5 or CJ7, little different than a Bronco, it gets thumbs up everywhere, and presents very well, but casual enough that you don’t mind putting miles on. I just can’t in good conscience subject it to an Indiana winter, and don’t want it sitting up for the next 5 months until it’d be safe to bring it back out. The hardtop is included. Most of the paint is in very nice shape, though there’s a little fading on the fronts of the fenders (on either side of the grille), and the hardtop has a little patina. Bet the fronts of the fenders would shine up with some buffing (I haven’t tried). Speedometer is nonop, but odometer works great. Lights, heat, etc all work great. Steering, Suspension, Braking
