1978 Jeep CJ5
The Jeep is as American as apple pie and baseball. They are one of the most customizable vehicles on the planet, and this one is nicely done. Why This Car Is Special
This CJ has been restored and modified inside and out but still retains the factory 304 V8 engine and is a completely metal body. This IS NOT a fiberglass body. Almost every nut and bolt on this Jeep has been restored, rebuilt or replaced in the last few years. Mechanical
The original 304 is still under the hood and has been completely rebuilt. It is backed by the original 4 speed manual transmission and of course has 4WD for your off-roading needs. All bushings, suspension components, steering components, and brakes have been replaced. Quick release sway bar end links have been installed in case you want to do a little climbing. The stock exhaust manifolds have been replaced with full length coated headers that run to a Magnaflow muffle for a great rumble. This Jeep is ready to be driven and enjoyed. Interior
The interior can be enjoyed in two ways. Right now, it has fitted blue tropical seat covers installed that really pop against the yellow paint and make this a real beach cruiser. If that’s not your style they can easily be removed to reveal the stock style black vinyl seats. A chrome tilt column and chrome dash panels have been installed along with a chrome grab bar above the glovebox. The Jeep has a complete new wiring harness which means all gauges and lights work and a phone charger and USB chargers have been installed as well. The entire inside of the tub has been coated in tan bedliner for durability and rust prevention. It looks great and is easy to keep clean as well. There is a center console for storage and to hole your drinks while you enjoy open air cruising. This Jeep comes with a full Bestop soft top with full soft doors with zip up windows. It also comes with a Bimini top which installs in minutes to keep the sun off your shoulders. Or take the top off all together and enjoy the sun and wind all around you. Exterior
Painted in a stunning yellow paint and topped off with a ton of chrome, this Jeep will get you thumbs up as you drive. Chrome grill, chrome tube front and rear bumpers, Ultra aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich All Terrain tires, chrome exhaust tip, chrome nerf bars, and chrome hinges really make this Jeep shine. All lighting has been converted to LED including projector headlights that look great and keep you safer than the stock lights of the 70s would. Palmetto, Florida, United States
