1953 Willys Jeep army
He is offering for sale one of the nicest restored 1953 Willys Army jeeps in existence. I knew the man who previously owned it and had the restoration meticulously and professionally done. You would have had to know the man to appreciate the quality of his restorations. Not only was he extremely talented and an artist at restoring, he only employed the best craftsmen. He had many antique cars as well as airplanes. He was still flying his own airplane well into his 80’s. This jeep is not the run of the mill rusted, dented, worn out jeep that was discarded and someone tried to bring back. This jeep came from Arizona and has never seen salt or rust. This jeep is worth the plane ticket to come and see it in person. You will not be disappointed. To say that it was meticulously restored is a very gross understatement… It is as perfect as one can be. Everything is new and fresh and I would doubt it has had 50 miles on it since it was restored. It runs, stops, idles, and drives perfectly. My friend has only driven it locally to ensure everything worked as well as he could determine. Speedometer shows 19,000 miles, actual unknown. Jeep is being sold as where is since it is a 1953. VIN shown not accurate, I didn’t have title in my hand when writing this. Accurate VIN is on title in Brads hand. Call him. This jeep is parade ready. It was recently placed in a judged competition in honor of the man who restored it and his widow where it won a trophy amongst very steep competition at a prestigious car show. You could patch up a jeep and that’s all you would have is a patched up jeep. This is the cream of the crop and you will not find a better one anywhere…and it is parade ready. I have owned many collector cars and have personally restored many cars. This is one of the finest most accurate restorations I have seen in my life.
